It was alleged staff are not securing a daycare child’s diaper. LPA interviewed all pertinent parties, including staff. Staff stated they do secure children’s diapers. Staff stated sometimes a child may wiggle around when changing a diaper; however, they always ensure the diaper is securely fastened so there are no concerns of diaper rash or other issues with a loose diaper. Based on interviews, the above allegations are unsubstantiated. Meaning, although the allegations may have happened, or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur. LPA conducted an exit interview with director. LPA provided a copy of this report, appeal rights, and a Notice of Site visit form was issued. Notice of site visit must be posted for 30 days.
