What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Aman Lama arrived at the center on another matter. LPA met with site director, Christa Martinez. LPA toured the preschool program, took census and observed the following violation: Upon review of S1's file, Title 22 Regulation Section HSC 1596.8662(b)(1) was not met. Please see LIC809D for citation details. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the site director, Christa Martinez.

    ARTICLE 2. Administration of Child Day Care Licensing

    (1) On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every 2 years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training. This requirement is not met as evidenced by:S1's MRT was expired. This poses/posed a potential threat to the health & safety of kids.
