What Happened
The annual inspection found the home operating within licensed capacity with appropriate ratios, supervision, and secured hazards. Fire safety equipment was present and tested, the backyard pool/spa was properly fenced, and child emergency information was on file. A fire drill documentation issue and a pending mandated reporter update were noted on the report.
Observations
- Smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher were present and tested
- Backyard in-ground pool and spa were fenced with a self-closing, self-latching gate
- Last documented fire drill was 2021-05-28
- Each child's file contained emergency information cards
- Licensee and assistant CPR/First Aid cards were current at the time of inspection
