What Happened
One-year annual inspection of family child care home with in-ground pool and spa found two Type B deficiencies: expired Mandated Reporter certificate and pool alarm not installed. All other safety features and supervision measures were compliant.
Observations
- Mandated Reporter Training certificate expired (10/2024) - Type B deficiency
- Floating pool alarm present but not installed - Type B deficiency cited with requirement to install and maintain daily test logs
- In-ground pool and spa with secondary water safety equipment (rescue pole, life ring)
