What the inspector wrote

On December 17, 2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kendal Zirbes conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection. The purpose POC inspection was to clear deficiencies cited on December 8, 2021. Present during today\342\200\231s inspection were 14 childcare children (two infants and 12 older children) and two staff members. LPA completed a tour with the Licensee. Based on LPAs observations on this day the facility has corrected the deficiencies. A POC clearance letter was provider to the Licensee. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, and notice of site visit were provided to Licensee

    102417 (g)(10) Operation of a Family Child Care Home. A baby walker shall not be allowed on the premises of a family childcare home in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 1596.846(b) and (c). This requirement was not met as evidence by: On December 8, 2021 LPA observed two children utilizing baby jumpers in the family childcare home. These items are prohibited per Section 1500.86 of Part 1500 of Title 16 of the Code of Federal Regulations. This poses a potential Health, Safety, or personal right risk to the children in care.
