On this date and time, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Mejorado conducted a Case Management inspection based on lead testing results received on the facility. LPA toured the facility, took census and met with Facility Representative Teresa Turner to further discuss lead results received and measures taken for remediation of lead exceedances. During the inspection, LPA toured and obtained photos of the following water outlet identified with lead exceedances: Outlet L (6.7 ppb) which is located in an unoccupied classroom (Resource Library). LPA observed and obtained photos of required signage posted at the outlet for cessation of use. Facility implemented the following plan of action until formal remediation can be completed: Water outlet has a posted sign for nonuse. Facility outlet L is a hand washing sink not used for consumption located in a classroom which is currently not being used. Facility has had the water faucet replaced and is currently completing the new fixt ure flushing tracking sheet. Once the flushing process has been completed the facility will have the new faucet retested. The facility uses water dispenser's and water bottles for the children. Due to the outlet L not being used for drinking or food preparation, no citation is being issued at this time. LPA provided facility a copy of PIN 21-21.1 and went over the testing requirements. An exit interview was conducted. LPA provided Facility Representative Teresa Turner with a copy of this report, appeal rights and notice of site visit. This report must be made available to the public upon request for three years.
