What the inspector wrote

On 02/22/2024 at 10:30 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Raymond Moorehead and Susan Brewer arrived at the facility to conduct a Case Management-Legal/Non-Compliance inspection. This inspection is in agreement with, and as a result of a Non-Compliance Conference that took place on July 26, 2023, due to concerns associated with the family child care home history and citations issued. The citations issued were regarding Infant Safe Sleep, Criminal Record Clearance/Exemptions, Personal Rights, Reporting Requirements, Personnel Records, Operation of a Family Child Care Home, and Staffing Ratio and Capacity. LPAs met with licensee Jocelyn Roces-Lopez, toured the facility and conducted a census. Present in the home today were licensee and three adult residents. The following was observed and discussed: 102425(b) Infant Safe Sleep - observed to be in compliance during today's inspection 102370(d)(1) Criminal Record Clearance - observed to be in compliance during today's inspection 102423 (a)(2) Personal Rights - observed to be in compliance during today's inspection 102416.2(a)(2) Reporting Requirements - observed to be in compliance during today's inspection 102416.1(d) Personnel Records - observed to be in compliance during today's inspection 102417(g)(4) Operation of a Family Child Care Home - observed to be in compliance during today's inspection 102416.5(e) Staffing Ratio and Capacity - observed to be in compliance during today's inspection It was also noted by LPAs that Licensee paid her annual licensing fees online during today's visit. No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. LPAs observed licensee post Notice of Site Visit prior to leaving the facility. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Jocelyn Roces-Lopez.
