What the inspector wrote

On August 26, 2025, at 02:31pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Zirbes, met with facility representative Kenia Flores Martinez to conduct an unannounced case management inspection. The purpose of the case management was to follow up on a self-reported unusual incident report (UIR) submitted on to the Department on August 25, 2025. The unusual incident report was regarding the physical plant of the child care center. Upon arrival, there were 12 preschool children in care with one teacher, two aides, one support staff and one site supervisor on site. During this inspection, interviews were conducted with staff and a safety inspection was completed. Based on LPA observation and interviews the air conditioning in classroom one was not working at the time of this inspection. Two portable air conditioning units were in classroom one at the time of this inspection. Per LPA observation and interviews, classroom one has not been utilized by child care children since May 2025 . All instruction is being provided in classroom two and the outdoor activity space. Classroom two was a comfortable temperature at the time of this inspection. Further investigation is not required regarding this case management. A notice of site visit was given to facility representative and must remain posted. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Kenia Flores Martinez
