On 3/25/25 at 12:15 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Patricia Berry arrived at the facility to conduct an annual inspection as part of a compliance review. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed: \302\267 Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm OFF-LIMIT AREAS INCLUDE: Pool, Two Bedrooms, and Garage \302\267 The facility is operating within the licensed capacity and appropriate ratios \302\267 Appropriate supervision provided during this inspection \302\267 A working telephone is present and the current number is on file \302\267 Appropriate fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector present and were tested by the Licensee during this inspection. \302\267 Fireplace is properly screened to prevent access by children \302\267 All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children \302\267 Toxins are locked (Cont on 809C \302\267 Weapons are not present/stored according to Title 22. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations \302\267 Clean, safe and age appropriate toys \302\267 Current roster on file \302\267 Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan and Notification of Parent\342\200\231s Rights poster are posted \302\267 Documentation of fire and disaster drills on file \342\200\223 Last drill conducted on 12/27/24 \302\267 Bodies of water at this time. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position. LPA observed a in-ground pool with \302\267 Verification of control of property on file \302\267 Children\342\200\231s records are complete \302\267 Employee\342\200\231s records are complete \302\267 Mandated Reporter Training completed/expired on 6/25 \302\267 Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expire on 9/25 \302\267 Health & Safety Certificate - completed on 7/24/2005 \302\267 Resident and/or staff records were reviewed and all adults who require caregiver background checks have received all required clearances and/or exemptions. The licensee confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and/or using the facility address for their mailing address. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. LPA also informed licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. This website can also be accessed through www.ccld.ca.gov (Cont on 809C) Criminal Record Clearance - Family Child Care Homes Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. MyChildCarePlan.org \342\200\223 Centers and Family Child Care Homes Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. AB2370 \342\200\223 Effective January 1, 2019 \342\200\223 Lead Poisoning \342\200\223 providers are required to provide a lead toxicity prevention handout to parents/guardians of newly enrolled and newly reenrolled children with information on risks and effects of lead poisoning; blood lead testing recommendations and requirements; and options for obtaining blood lead testing, including free and/or discounted testing. There will be a training component of this added to the Preventative Health Training beginning July 1, 2020. Megan\342\200\231s Law - Family Child Care Homes During the exit interview, the LICENSEE, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS. (Cont on 809C) Review of records to be maintained Notice of Site Visit (for licensed facilities only) - Child Care Centers and Family Child Care Homes A notice of site visit was given to [applicant, licensee or facility representative] and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. LPA reviewed with licensee the LIC 311D, Forms/Records To Keep In Your Family Child Care Homes, children\342\200\231s forms/records, facility forms/records, and information to be posted See 809D for deficiencies.
