Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 2/4/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Crystal Ali met with the licensee to deliver the findings on the investigation into the above allegations. Upon arrival, LPA observed three children and one infant present along with both licensees and their adult child providing care and supervision. The investigation was conducted by the Community Care Licensing Investigations Bureau, Investigator Dennis Seng. The investigation consisted of interviews with the licensee, children, and other relevant parties. The investigation revealed inconsistent statements with Allegation #1 uncleared adult living in the home. Allegation #2 that an adult in the home engages in illegal drug activity while in the home. Allegation #3 that day care children have access to illegal drugs while in care. After relevant complaint parties were interviewed with IB investigator, they determined there was no substantial evidence disclosed related to the allegation. The allegation could not be corroborated. Therefore, the allegations have been found unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged occurred. An exit interview was conducted, the report was read, and a copy of this report was left with the Licensee with notice of the site visit and appeal rights.
