What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Aman Lama arrived at the facility to conduct a case management-Licensee initiated inspection. Upon arrival, LPA toured the facility and took census with facility representative, Paula Gomez. LPA was later met with the acting site director, Lucia Trejo. The reason for the inspection was to inspect the classrooms to process a capacity decrease. The center has 6 classrooms, but are only utilizing 4 of them for preschool. 2 of the classrooms on the other side of the parking lot are currently being used as a storage space for extra supplies, toys, etc as well as one as an office space. All 6 classrooms were inspected on this date. Facility representative stated that they will be adding an infant program to the site in the near future. LPA toured inside and outside, and the following was observed and/or noted: Classrooms 1-4 will be utilized as the preschool, whereas classrooms 5 and 6 is planned to be utilized for the infant program. During todays visit, LPA was made aware of the site director being out for up to 30 consecutive days. This was not reported to the department within 10 days of the change. -See LIC809D for citation.
