On November 17, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Calloway made an unannounced inspection at the facility above. LPA met with Site Director who granted access. The purpose was to conduct a POC inspection for the TYPE A deficiency cited on November 16, 2023. LPA observed the deficiency posted on the parent wall and LIC 9224 in children's files. LPA toured with Site Director, the infant room and observed six infants and two teachers in active play. Per Site Director there is a training being conducted on November 17, 2023 with the staff that will cover Safe Sleep for infants, Personal Rights, Safe Practice when holding or picking up and infant or toddler. Training will cover PIN 20-24-CCP and there will be 10 minute, 1 minute, and 30 second videos explaining ways to reduce SIDS. There is a sign in sheet for the staff that will attend the training. LPA received a copy of the training as proof of correction.
