Facility-requested visit·March 3, 2026

On date and time listed above, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Raymond Moorehead arrived at the facility to conduct a licensee initiated case management visit regarding the proposed addition of occasional use of the facility’s gymnasium (Fieldhouse Gymnasium) as a multipurpose space for children in care. The Fieldhouse Gymnasium is located at the lower school and is connected to the licensed facility. During today's visit, LPA conducted a walk-through of the gymnasium with Director Kim Smith. LPA obtained a copy of the facility's updated facility sketch/map. During the walk-through, LPA did not observe any immediate hazards to children in regards to the Fieldhouse Gymnasium. A fire clearance was granted by the Redlands Fire Department on 02/18/2026, regarding the additional gymnasium space. Please note that there are no changes to the facility’s overall licensed capacity. Prior to final approval, the facility agrees to submit a waiver request to Licensing outlining the plan for how the multipurpose space will be used, including how the space will be managed if shared among children of different age groups. Once the waiver request is received and approved by Licensing, the facility may operate within the multipurpose room in accordance with the approved waiver terms. No deficiencies were cited during today’s visit. A Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with Director Kim Smith.
