What the inspector wrote

Interviews with pertinent parties did not reveal any corroborating evidence to support the allegation of the complaint. It was disclosed the subject child of this complaint had grabbed onto the arms of another child and refused to let go. It was disclosed staff gave verbal instructions to the child, but intervened by physically separating the children to de-escalate the situation. LPA did not record any statements that revealed the child was pushed to the ground. There was conflicting information received during the investigation from what was alleged. This agency has investigated the complaint alleging: Staff handled child in a rough manner. Although the allegation may have happened, or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN. DIRECTOR WAS INSTRUCTED TO POSTED IT IN A PROMINENT LOCATION AT THE FACILITY. THE LICENSEE UNDERSTANDS THAT IT MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS. An exit interview was conducted, A copy of this report was given to the Director on 10/22/2024.
