It was alleged on 12/06/2025 a daycare child was being dropped off and there was an unclear adult watching the children. LPA conducted interviews with pertinent parties including the Licensee. Licensee self admitted that on 12/06/2025 they had an uncleared adult (A1) take care of the daycare children while they attended a personal appointment. Interviews disclosed this was a single occurrence and A1 has not returned. Based on LPA observations, interviews, and record review, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation(s) is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, (Title 22, Division 12 & Chapter 1), are being cited on the attached LIC9099D. A civil penalty has been issued in the amount of $ 100.00. If a Civil Penalty has been assessed during this inspection. Payment is due when billed and the check(s) or money orders shall be made payable to the “California Department of Social Services”. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INVOICE IN THE MAIL. DO NOT SEND MONEY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE YOUR INVOICE. DO NOT SEND CASH. LPA Mejorado informed licensee Maria Ramirez that this report dated 12/17/2025 document(s) one Type A citation(s) which shall be posted for 30 consecutive days as there is/are immediate risk(s) to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Also, LPA Mejorado informed the licensee Maria Ramirez to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 12/17/2025 that documents any Type A citation(s) to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification.
