Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that knives were observed in a drawer with a broken lock, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensee stated the child proof magnet lock just broke and the broken piece was observed in the drawer. Children were not in the kitchen during the inspection.

This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on observations, the following items were found: Bleach, razors, and hair clippers were observed in the daycare bathroom and a can of raid was found in the children play room, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
