MONROE FAMILY CHILD CARE

What Happened

LPAs found serious staffing compliance problems because the licensee's spouse, a visiting adult son, and one assistant were not properly background cleared or associated. The visit also confirmed that CPR/first aid was not current, even though the home otherwise had the expected safety protections in place.

Observations

  • The licensee's spouse and a visiting 18-year-old adult were not criminally background cleared
  • Assistant Marci Clause was not associated to the family child care facility
  • Required training and CPR/first aid were not current
