LPA Montoya conducted follow up Pre Licensing inspection of applicant small child care home. Pool, AC covered and fire place inspection needed to be completed prior to licensing. Corrections needed before application can be submitted for approval: 1.) A screen will be added in front of the fire place for additional safety. Done 2.) Make the AC unit in the backyard inaccessible. Done 3.) The applicant will make the necessary changes to the pool gate. Done Ensure the gate is over 5 feet high in all areas. Ensure the pool gate swings away from the pool and is self latching. Ensure self latching device is no more than 6 inches from the top of the gate. LPA reviewed pool regulation with applicant. Provided copy of regulations to applicant. Applicant is aware all children needed to be monitor 100 % of the time. Exit interview and inspection conducted and a copy of this inspection report provided to applicant Keisha Hunter.
