What the inspector wrote

On 09/17/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ana Rodriguez conducted an inspection at the Albarran Family Child Care. The purpose of the inspection was a Plan of Correction visit to review the Type A deficiency that was cited on 09/3/25 for CCR 102416.3(a) and to ensure that the Gazebo is now properly secured. LPA met with Licensee Janet Albarran and toured the facility. LPA observed Licensee and 2 staff providing active care to 5 preschool and 2 infants. All adults in the facility have a Criminal Record Clearance (DOJ/FBI) and Child Abuse Index Clearance and are associated to the facility The following was observed: During the visit LPA Rodriguez observed the Gazebo secured to the ground with anchors and bolts. Wood braces have been added to the top of each post to provide structural stability. LPA obtained photographs of the structure. Backyard is no longer off limits. No deficiencies are being cited at this time. A Plan of Correction letter was provided to licensee. Exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was read, a Notice of Site Visit, were provided to Licensee, Janet Albarran. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) must remain posted for thirty (30) consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting will result in a $100 civil penalty.
