Pre-licensing visit·January 28, 2022

Licensing Program Analyst's (LPA's) Maddox and Thompson-Miller met with Applicant/Owner/Director, Claudia Garcia today for the purpose of conducting a second Pre-licensing inspection. The facility consist of 4 classrooms, Office/Lobby space, bathrooms, kitchen, and the outside play area. Applicant is also seeking licensure of a Preschool component (X367750034) and an Infant component (X 367750032 ) on the same premises. During this inspection, LPA's inspected the entire center and re-measured due to recent renovation. Days/hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. Measurements taken today for the School age room were as follows: 62 X 24 = 1488/35 = 43 There are 2 bathrooms designated for the School Age component located in the hallway, each bathroom has 1 Toilet and 1 Sink with another bathroom on the play yard that has 3 toilets and 3 sinks. Applicant will request a waiver to allow Preschool and School age children to use this bathroom while each group is outside playing. Applicant will request a waiver to allow the School-age children and Pre-school children to share the play yard at staggered times. LPA's observed fire extinguishers, and smoke detectors , and carbon monoxide detectors through-out the center. Center has water dispensers indoors and outdoors with disposable cups Outside area has a shaded play structure, and a water fountain for drinking water Center will serve breakfast and snacks for School age children. Prior to Licensure: LPA will verify Fire Clearance; Applicant is awaiting Wood Chips for the outside play area.
