LPA Maddox met with Sonia Galvez, Director today for the purpose of conducting a case management visit. Licensee has requested to add a Toddler option to her licenses. This location has a licensed Infant (367750032- current capacity 12), Preschool (367750034 - current capacity 12), and School-age component (367750033 - current capacity 42), with the addition of the Toddler option, this center will be converted to a Single license and the aforementioned facility numbers will be closed. LPA measured the entire center, measurements were as follows (1 classroom per component): Infants: 345/35 = 9 Toddler: 182/35 = 5 Preschool: 418/35 = 12 School-age: 1465/35 = 42 The Infant yard measured: 37 X 19 = 703/75 = 9 Licensee has submitted a waiver request to allow Infants and Toddlers share the play yard with alternating schedules, fire clearance has been received and granted for a capacity of 6, however, with LPA's measurements, the classroom can accommodate 5 Toddlers. Upon waiver approval, the Toddler option will be incorporated into this licensed center and the Infant license will be decreased from 12 to 7.
