On 3/20/2024 at 9:00am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Vicky Williamson and Angela Nguyen conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with the Director, Delia Salcido. There were 62 children with nine (9) staff members. On 1/23/2024, the Director notified the Department that on 1/22/2024, due to major flooding the licensed classrooms #2, #3, #4, #7, & #8 were temporarily relocated to the King Hall and Youth Center on the premises. During today's visit, LPA conducted an inspection of classrooms #2, #3 and #4 that have been restored and are ready for use by the day care children. The classrooms are approved for use effective today, March 20, 2024. Classrooms #7 and #8 were previously approved for use on 2/2/2024. Director requested to utilize two bathrooms located outside of the King Hall building for daycare temporary on 2/2/2024. Effective today, 3/20/2024, those bathrooms will no longer be utilized for daycare children. Director is reminded that the two bathrooms located outside of the King Hall building are for use by staff only. No deficiencies cited. A copy of this report along with the Appeals Rights were provided. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and is required to be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. LPA observed director post Notice of Site Visit on the bulletin board.
