On 08/08/2025, at 10:40 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Dana Stevens conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of inspecting a restroom renovation to the SeaTurtles Room. LPA met with Director, Melissa Payne and disclosed the purpose of the inspection. Director accompanied LPA on a tour of the renovated restroom as well as the inside and outside of the entire facility. This program operates August through June of each year. A summer camp program operates mid June through mid July. Day and hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:30 pm. There are currently three classrooms in operation. No children were present at the time of this inspection due to summer break. Renovations took place during summer break when the SeaTurtle classroom was not in use. Renovations included a doorway cut into the wall to allow direct access from the classroom to the preschool bathroom. The restroom was also updated with new child size toilets and a new countertop installed at 24 inches from the ground with two sinks. The restroom is also equipped with a diaper changing table and wall-mounted supply storage cubbies. All toilets and sinks are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Floors in the restroom are clean and safe and free of hazards. Fire clearance is still needed prior to approval of the renovated restroom. Exit interview conducted and copy of this report was provided to Director. Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
