Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Interviews revealed that C1’s parent refused to sign the form and was upset that C1 was being required to stay home. As a result, C1 was accepted into the CCC the next day and accepted into care without either of the above requirements being met. Review of attendance records showed C1 attended the CCC on October 18, 2023 and October 19, 2023. Based on the interview and record review conducted during the investigation, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met and the allegation that staff are accepting sick children into the daycare is substantiated. The facility is being cited for Title 22 Regulations Section 101226.1 (a). See LIC 9099-D for cited deficiencies. An exit interview was conducted, appeal rights were discussed and a copy of this report was provided to Director Natalie Swisse. A notice of site visit was also provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
