What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennifer Lott conducted a complaint investigation visit regarding the above mentioned allegation. LPA was greeted at the front door by Operator, Briksam Gad, and granted entry after identifying herself and disclosing the purpose of her visit. During today’s visit, LPA toured the home and interviewed the licensee. Currently there was 1 child in care. Based on information obtained and interviews, it is determined that the program does not meet the requirements for exemption from licensure criteria under Title 22 regulation Section 101158 and Health and Safety code Section 1596.792. Therefore, the above allegation of unlicensed childcare is found to be SUBSTANTIATED, per Health and Safety code Section 1596.80 and noted on the attached LIC 9099D. A notice of Operation in Violation of Law and copy of this report was provided to operator, Briksam Gad. Facility representative, Briksam Gad, applied for a Family Child Care License on 09/13/2022 but applicant has not been granted a license at this time. Continued unlicensed operation may result in civil penalties of $200 per day. Operator, Gad was provided a copy of this report and signature acknowledges receipt.

This presents a immediate health and safety risk to children in care.
