What the inspector wrote

On 6/9/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted an unannounced Annual inspection with the Licensee, Atefeh Mohammadkhani. Her son, Shayan Mashayekhi assisted in translating in Farsi. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom single family home was toured and there were no children in care today. Licensee has smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the Living room and kitchen area. There is a fire extinguisher in the home that meets regulations. Both detectors were tested today and deemed to be operable. All hazardous items were latched and secured under the kitchen are out of reach of children. Mrs. Mohammadkhani stated that she does not have any weapons and LPA did not observe any. There are no bodies of water at the home and LPA did not observe any. Licensee also stated that her neighbors do not have pools either. Licensee has a first aid kit. A review of staff records on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse clearances or exemptions. First Aid and CPR expires June 2025. Licensee is exempt from Mandated Reporter Training because she speaks mostly Farsi.
