What the inspector wrote

On 6/25/2025 @ 12:50PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nancy Diaz conducted an unannounced case management visit not related to initial purpose of inspection. LPA met with Yazi Alawad (applicant for the new location), her husband Asem Alabdullah and their 13-year old son who helped translate in Arabic. Observed present today were 6 daycare children (one of which was under age 2). Mrs. Alawad stated that they moved to this location in May 2025. She admitted to operating child care in the current home without a license. Address to the new home is: 576 Herbert St., El Cajon CA 92020 Type B deficiency is cited today. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee. LPA provided a copy of this report and appeal rights today. Notice of site visit was provided and observed posted. This notice shall remain posted for 30 days. During the exit interview, the licensee, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS.

This requirement was not met as evidenced by: LPA observed 6 day care children plus Mrs. Alawad's 2 children under age 10 present in the home today cared for by Yazi Alawad.
