Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Saraliz Velando conducted a Case Management inspection that was initiated by Owner, Joanne Paz, to verify the Room Change is safe for children in care. LPA toured the facility with the Owner. There were no children in care because they are on Winter Break. Fire Clearance was granted on 12/12/24. Per tour of the facility today, the rooms for Preschool will be #6, #16, #17, #14 for Napping, and #12 for Indoor Play Area use. The rooms are well maintained, in safe condition, and free of hazards. Hand washing and toileting areas are in a safe, sanitary, and good operating condition. All storage containers or trash cans containing solid waste have tight fitting lids and are in good repair. There is at least one staff present with current CPR and First Aid certification. Any medications are kept with the First Aid kit and emergency box with code, inaccessible to children. There is no evidence of rodent or insect activity. The carbon monoxide detector is operational and located in the indoor playground. The facility uses electronic sign in/out on Brightwheel App. The facility provides filtered drinking water to refill labeled water bottles brought by the children. All play equipment is age appropriate. No deficiencies cited today. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Owner, Joanne Paz. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
