Pre-licensing visit·October 12, 2023

On 10/12/23 at 9:42am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Samantha Clenista conducted an announced Pre-licensing follow-up inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with Facility Representatives, Lona Seitz (Children\342\200\231s Paradise COO), Diane Prospero (Children\342\200\231s Paradise Director of Child Development) and newly assigned center director, Vanessa Sanchez. The purpose of this visit is to follow-up on corrections listed during LPA Clenista\342\200\231s inspection dated 10/10/23. LPA took a tour of the facility per facility sketch to ensure the corrections were met. LPA observed the following corrections to be met during inspection: proof of adding more cushioning (wood chips) under the climbing play structures located on the upper playground and making the barrier dividing the multipurpose room sturdier. The only items still pending prior to licensure are obtaining an approved shared playground waiver for the school-aged children to share the upper preschool playground, approved waiver for the preschool to share the school-aged indoor activity space at separate times and submit updated LIC200A reflecting 39 capacity which facility representatives stated will be emailed to LPA once completed. Once all remaining corrections are obtained, reviewed and after conducting a final file review, a license for 39 school-aged children (Kinder-12 years old) in the school-age side of the multipurpose room may be granted.
