What the inspector wrote

On 08/26/2025 at 9:00AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanna Lucas conducted an unannounced inspection on a different matter. LPA met the Director, Eva Campbell, and toured the facility. There were 17 children with four teachers. During the LPA’s inspection on a separate matter, the LPA observed on 08/14/2025 a staff member (S1) on the playground with 4 preschool children and 1 toddler (C1). LPA conducted interviews, and obtained documentation confirming that (S1) was not fully qualified to care for children alone, nor completed the required infant units to care for (C1). Based on the information obtained, (2) TYPE B deficiencies will be cited on the accompanying LIC 809D. An exit interview was conducted with the Center Director, Eva Campbell. LPA provided a copy of the appeal rights along with a copy of this report. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain for 30 days.
