Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 04/02/2025 at 3:05pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Selina Siao and Samantha Clenista conducted an unannounced case management inspection to ensure that the fencing for the large pond located on the property are in compliance with licensing regulations. LPAs observed a five feet high fence surrounding the large pond with a self latching door that swings away from the bodies of water. The key lockable device is placed no lower than 60 inches above the ground therefore it meets the new 2024 chaptered legislation requirements. Another purpose of the inspection is to ensure children doesn't have access to the garden area located outside of the classrooms. As there are multiple thorny plants and other hazards at the garden area therefore the area had to be fenced off to prevent children's access. Licensee was informed that she must contact licensing after all the hazardous items are removed and an inspection shall be conducted prior to removing of the fencing to ensure children's safety. Licensee/Director Sandra Reyes was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing. A regular license will be granted upon received of photos showing that the in-ground empty pond located in the garden area is completely covered.
