Facility-requested visit·June 13, 2025

On 6/13/2025 @ 10:00AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Nancy Diaz and Jody Dye conducted an unannounced case management inspection in reference to licensee's emergency request to license Rooms #5 & #6 due to flood damage in Rooms #1 & #2. Present today were 25 children - 8 infants; 10 preschool and 7 school-age children. LPAs met and toured the facility with Sandra Reyes, Director/licensee and her husband Ernie Reyes. Fire Marshall clearance was received on 6/13/25 clearing Rooms #5 & #6. Licensee is requesting to move preschool children to Rooms #3 & #5 and designate Room #6 for school-age children. The measurements are as follows: Room #5 has 639 sq. ft. will accommodate 18 children Room #6 has 667 sq. ft. will accommodate 19 children It is being noted that the cactus were removed from the courtyard (outside the classrooms). Mrs. Reyes stated that she will remove the fencing now that the cactus have been removed and that staff can access the area for breaks. Mrs. Reyes will notify the department once determination is made regarding completion of repairs in Rooms #1 & #2. Exit interview was conducted with Sandra Reyes. LPA reviewed and provided a copy of the licensing report. Notice of site visit was given and must be posted for 30 days.
