What the inspector wrote

On 11/12/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kelli Waters arrived unannounced to conduct a Case Management visit to follow up on AB2866 requirements which were noted on the annual inspection conducted on 10/15/25. Present during the visit was Licensee, adult resident, two minor children and 4 children in care (preschool age). During the visit, LPA inspected the in-ground pool area, and the following was observed and or discussed: \342\200\242 Mesh fencing 5 feet tall surrounding the pool \342\200\242 Gate is self-latching with a key-lockable device no lower than 60 inches above the ground \342\200\242 Life saving ring approved by U.S. Coast Guard with documentation \342\200\242 Water pool alarm that meets ATSM F2208 with documentation \342\200\242 Rescue body hook with a 13-foot fixed length pole Licensee will provide LPA with alarm test. Once water alarm is installed and is working order, Licensee will be in full compliance with AB2866 regulations. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Karina Cuarenta, and a copy of this report was provided to the applicant on this date. A copy of this report must be made available to the public for 3 years.
