What the inspector wrote

On 04/16/25 at 1:01PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Kelly Gerth conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPA met with VP of Operations Jennifer Grawvunder. The Licensee is requesting to be increase from a capacity of 14 to 52 Infant children in classrooms Elephant 1, Elephant 2, Elephant 3 and Honeybees classrooms. A fire clearance was granted for an increase of capacity on April 02, 2025. All newly added indoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today and all new additional indoor activity space was measured. \302\267 Indoor activity space was complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. \302\267 Ratios are being met during this inspection. \302\267 Classrooms are adequately equipped with age and size appropriate furniture and equipment and free of hazards. \302\267 There are no weapons present at the facility as stated by VP of Operations Jennifer Grawvunder. \302\267 There are no accessible bodies of water present. All wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position. \302\267 Opening and closing staff member\342\200\231s CPR/First Aid expires on 10/2027. \302\267 Director completed Health and Safety Training on 11/30/2024. Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. At this time, a subsequent visit will be conducted to complete the outdoor activity space measurements and inspection, for the application of capacity increase application. A notice of site visit was given to licensee and must remain posted for 30 days. A copy of this report was provided and an exit interview conducted with the facility representative.
