Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Secondly, it was alleged that staff yelled at child. Specifically stating that, when C1 ran into another classroom, S1 was heard shouting, “Absolutely, NOT.” Four of four interviews corroborated that when C1 ran into the Ladybug classroom, S1 did raise their voice due to a safety concern. Record review confirmed, S1 attempted to communicate with P1 on their intention to redirect C1 and their safety concern, however yelling and cursing was initiated by P1, not S1. Record review additionally confirmed that S1 remained professional and calm when confronted by P1. Based on conflicting statements from interviews and record review, LPA is unable to corroborate the allegation that, facility staff handled child in a rough manner and facility staff yelled at child. These allegations may have occurred; however, they are not supported, or proven by evidence. Therefore, the above allegations are unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, appeal rights, along with a Notice of Site Visit was provided to Director, Erica Webb. Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 consecutive days in a prominent place, visible to families and caregivers.
