On 7/6/2023 @ 1:25 p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Joelle Redding, made an unannounced visit to follow up on a self-reported incident that occurred on 6/21/2023, wherein a child sustained an injury. LPA interviewed staff who were present during and after the incident and inspected the area of the incident. LPA observed age appropriate furnishings and equipment in the area and no hazards. There were 13 children with a teacher and an aide at the time of the occurrence. LPA spoke with Assistant Director Corrie Barrick who responded and applied first aid. Child has since returned to preschool. Facility staff responded appropriately and timely, direct supervision was in place and ratios were met. No deficiencies are cited.
