What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst's (LPA's), Linda Almaraz and Sumayya Habeebulla arrived at the facility to conduct a case management visit for the purpose of a capacity increase at the center. The center was granted a fire clearance on 8/11/22. On 7/11/22, LPA's toured the remodeled infant/ toddler option (18-36 months) classrooms, inside and out an measurements were taken. Bella Classrooms Classroom A (infants) 29.83 x 11.83 = 352.89 - 4 x 2 (cabinet) - 7.52 x 6.83 (crib area) = 293.53 Total indoor activity space: 293.53 divided by 35 = 8.38 (8) Children Classroom B 22.58 x 13.75 = 310.47 - 4 x 2 (cabinet) = 302.47 Total indoor activity space: 302.47 divided by 35 = 8.64 (9) Children Classroom C (Infants) 29.83 x 11.83 + 11.83 x 1.33 (indent area)= 368.62 -7.25 x 6.83 (crib area) -4 x 2 (cabinet space) = 311.11 Total indoor activity space: 311.11 divided by 35 = 8.88 (9) Children **All 3 classrooms are connected by a the restroom that has 2 toilets and 2 sinks available for children.** LPA's have determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate 26 children in the Bella building classrooms. (Continued on an LIC809-C) Caleigh Classrooms Classroom A (18mo - 3 yrs old) 29.83 x 11.83 = 352.89 - 4 x 2 (cabinet) = 344.89 Total indoor activity space: 344.89 divided by 35 = 9.85 (10) Children Classroom B (18mo - 3 yrs old) 13.67 x 22 = 300.74 - 4 x 2 (cabinet) = 292.74 Total indoor activity space: 292.74 divided by 35 = 8.36 (8) Children Classroom C (18mo - 3 yrs old) 29.83 x 11.75 + 11.83 x 1.33 (indent area) = 366.24 - 4 x 2 (cabinet) = 358.24 Total indoor activity space: 358.24 divided by 35 = 10.23 (10) Children **All 3 classrooms are connected by a the restroom that has 2 toilets and 2 sinks available for children.** LPA's have determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate 28 children in the Caleigh building classrooms. Infant Outdoor Activity Area Bella Patio (infants) 40.50 x 20.25 = 820.12 Total outdoor activity space: 820.12 divided by 75 = 10.93 (11) children The Alley playground (Toddlers) 89.75 x 20.17 = 1,810.25 + 14.83 x 12.33 =1993.10 **Total outdoor activity space: 1,993.10 divided by 75 = 26.57 (27) children.** LPA's have determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate 11 children in the Bella patio at a given time and 27 children in the Alley playground at a given time. LPA's verified restrooms were safe, clean and in working order. Capacity increase has been granted for a capacity total of 54 children combined. An exit interview was conducted. Appeal rights were explained to Erica Parada. A notice of site visit was posted and must remain posted for 30 days.
