What the inspector wrote

On August 13, 2025 at 8:30 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection at the facility. Purpose of this inspection is to ensure citations issued during an annual inspection dated 06/13/2025 were corrected. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee, Maria Cordero, and proceeded to tour the facility.\302\240 There were no children and no staff members during today\342\200\231s inspection. The following citation issued on 06/13/2025 were corrected as follows: On 06/13/2025 Licensee removed scissors from the kitchen cabinet and signed the written regulation stating she understands this regulation. On 08/13/2025 LPA observed the inground pool is surrounded by a fence, with self-latching, self-closing gate that swings away from the pool and meets Title 22 requirements. Licensee had requested an extension for the fencing and provided the Department pictures by email that the fencing was complete on 08/08/2025. On 6/17/25 Licensee submitted a current Mandated Reporter Training Certificate dated 06/14/2025. On 06/17/2025 Licensee submitted a documented disaster drill that was conducted on 06/16/2025. A copy of this report and a Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given to Licensee and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. LPA observed LIC 9213 was posted. Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) was provided. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.\302\240 An exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with Licensee, Maria Cordero.
