What the inspector wrote

On April 4, 2025 at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection at the facility. Purpose of this inspection is to ensure the citation issued during an annual inspection dated March 7, 2025 was corrected. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee, Cristina Sanchez and proceeded to tour the facility.\302\240There were two (2) daycare children and two (2) staff members during today\342\200\231s inspection. LPA verified staff present and supervising daycare children have been criminal record cleared. On March 10, 2025 Licensee submitted a written statement of her understanding of the regulation and stated she understands she cannot have any Adult working or living in her home if not criminal record cleared before residing or working at her facility. Licensee stated she called Guardian and they stated Staff #1 (S1) has been cleared but not associated to this facility and they would fix the issue. On March 13, 2025 Licensee submitted a copy of a clearance letter from Guardian that stated S1 has been cleared. LPA verified guardian and verified that S1 has been criminal record cleared and associated to this facility. This deficiency has been corrected. A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given to Licensee, Cristina Sanchez and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. LPA observed LIC 9213 was posted. Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) was provided. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. An exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with Licensee, Cristina Sanchez . LPA interpreted and explained the inspection report to licensee in Spanish, licensee stated she understood. No deficiencies cited.
