What the inspector wrote

On 2/10/23 at 9:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Castellon conducted an unannounced inspection to deliver complaint findings for the above allegations. LPA Castellon met with licensee Soul Meraz and discussed the purpose of the inspection. It was alleged that: Licensee does not allow parent to pick up day care child, Licensee does not allow parent to enter and inspect the facility, and Licensee allows sick children to attend day care. During the course of the investigation, three unannounced inspections were conducted. Interviews were conducted with day-care parents, day-care children, and facility staff. LPA Castellon interviewed the reporting party. LPA obtained documents pertaining to the complaint allegations. LPA Castellon was not able to corroborate the allegations through interviews conducted. Reporting party was not able to provide documents that would substantiate the allegations. Due to conflicting statements obtained during the course of the investigation, the above allegations are deemed to be UNSUBSTANTIATED meaning that although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged allegations occurred.
