Non-compliance follow-up·August 18, 2022

On August 18, 2022 at 1:40 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cindy Hamilton conducted an unannounced inspection of the Family Child Care Home (FCCH) and met with licensee Susan Coronado. The purpose of the visit was to conduct a Case Management Legal/Non-Compliance inspection per compliance plan initiated on 02/22/2022. LPA toured and inspected the FCCH. Present were the licensee, the licensee’s assistant/daughter-in-law, and two daycare children, which were under the care and supervision of Licensee and assistant. LPA confirmed by file review that all adults present, currently employed and living in the FCCH have received criminal record and child abuse clearances or exemptions. During the inspection of the facility, LPA observed and found FCCH in compliance with Title 22 regulations. no health and safety concerns noted. Licensee was reminded that all adults are required prior to volunteering, being employed or living in the FCCH to complete the criminal background clearance process to avoid civil penalties associated with this requirement. LPA also discussed and advised licensee of the online Guardian system to update the facility’s roster. Licensee agreed to update the facility’s roster by August 26, 2022. An exit interview was conducted, appeal rights were discussed and provided along with a copy of this report to Licensee Susan Coronado. A Notice of Site Visit was also provided and posted by licensee.
