What the inspector wrote

On August 26, 2025 at 9:30 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection at the facility. Purpose of this inspection is to ensure citations issued during an annual inspection dated 7/23/25 were corrected. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee, Elizabeth Vargas-Jimenez and proceeded to tour the facility. There were five (5) daycare children and no staff members were present during today\342\200\231s inspection.\302\240The following citations issued on 7/23/25 were corrected as follows: Licensee removed the infant from the car seat immediately at the time of the inspection on 7/23/25 and submitted a written statement of her understanding of this regulation and plan of correction on 7/23/25. LPA did not observe any infants sleeping in car seats at todays inspection. Licensee submitted pictures of the latch on the jacuzzi to be latched and locked on 7/28/25 and LPA observed the jacazzi to be latched and locked at todays inspection. Licensee submitted a copy of her mandated reporter certificate 7/31/25 dated 8/1/25. Licensee barricaded the stairs at the time of the inspection on 7/23/25 and LPA observed the stairs were barricaded at todays visit. Licensee submitted to the Department proof of Immunization's for Helper #1 by email on 7/28/25. Licensee submitted a documented drill dated 7/25/25 by email on 7/25/25. Licensee removed all cleaning compounds at the time of the inspection on 7/23/25. LPA did not observe any cleaning compounds accessible to daycare children at todays inspection. License submitted copies of LIC9150 for all children enrolled by email on 7/28/25. Licensee submitted a copy of an LIC9227 for Child #1 by email on 7/25/25. Licensee submitted sleep logs for infants by email on 7/25/25. Licensee submitted copy of First Aid & CPR certificate by email on 7/24/25 dated 7/24/25. Licensee submitted a written statement of her understanding of these regulations and her plan of corrections by email on 7/24/25. LPA ensured that all deficiencies that were cited on 7/23/25 were corrected on todays visit. A copy of this report and a Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given to Licensee and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. LPA observed LIC 9213 was posted. Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) was provided. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.\302\240 An exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with Licensee Elizabeth Vargas-Jimenzez. No deficiencies cited.
