On June 24, 2024, at 7:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jo Ann Legaspi conducted an unannounced Required 3 Year Inspection and met with the Licensee Rosa Huerta. The licensee, the helper and seven (7) children were present in the facility during this inspection. This facility is a one story, three (3) bedroom, two (2) bathroom house. Licensee accompanied LPA during this inspection. The following areas used for childcare are: living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway bathroom, one bedroom and the fenced and shaded backyard. The off-limit areas are the remaining bedrooms and bathroom, which are made inaccessible by use of child safety doorknob covers on its doorknobs.
The fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector met requirements. Hazardous items were observed inaccessible to
children during this inspection. The Licensee has available toys, play equipment and materials. Licensee states children engage in outdoor activities in the fenced and shaded backyard. Licensee was reminded that continuous supervision is to be given to children whenever engaged in outdoor activities. No bodies of water were observed on the premises during the inspection. Licensee stated there are no weapons in the home.
Licensee\342\200\231s First Aid and CPR certifications expire in August 2025. Licensee has required immunizations. Mandated Reporter Training was completed on 06/20/2024. On this date, 06/11/2024, the California Attorney General - Megan\342\200\231s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ. During the exit interview, the Licensee Rosa Huerta, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS.
