What the inspector wrote

On 08/27/2025 at 11:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection at the facility. Purpose of this inspection is to ensure citations issued during an annual inspection dated 07/15/2025 were corrected. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee, Blanca Cardenas and proceeded to tour the facility. There were five (5) children and one (1) staff member during today’s inspection. The following citation issued on 07/15/2025 were corrected as follows a the time of this inspection: LPA observed infant's under 12 months of age to include the LIC9227. LPA observed infants updated safe sleep logs. LPA observed a Mandated Reporter Training Certificate for both Licensee and Staff #1 dated 07/20/2025. LPA observed childrens immunizations in each of the childrens files. LPA observed a rescue pole, log of pool daily inspections, key lockable device on the pool gate, enclosures are within regulation, pool alarm meeting ASTM standards, a life ring approved by the US Coast Guard, and the pool gate was closed at the time of this inspection. LPA observed a current disaster plan documented on 7/17/25. LPA verified Staff #1 is criminal record cleared and associated to this facility. LPA observed cribs are free from all lose articles. A copy of this report and a Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given to Licensee and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. LPA observed LIC 9213 was posted. Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) was provided. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.  An exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with Licensee, Blanca Cardenas. LPA interpreted and explained the inspection report to licensee in Spanish, licensee stated she understood. No deficiencies cited.
