What the inspector wrote

On 5/6/25 at 9:00 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection at the facility. Purpose of this inspection is to ensure citations issued during an annual inspection dated 12/16/24 and for a repeat violation on 4/29/25 was corrected. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee proceeded to tour the facility. There were six (6) daycare children, including one (1) infant, five (5) toddlers, and one (1) staff member during today’s inspection.  LPA observed capacity was within the limitations set forth on the license and within ratio. The following citation issued on 12/16/24 and 4/29/25 have been corrected: Licensee submitted a written statement of her plan to remain within ratio to the department on 4/29/25. Licensee provided proof of a current First Aid and CPR for Staff #1 on 5/3/25 which states expiration date of 5/2027. No Citations issued. A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given to Licensee, Vianey Moran and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. LPA observed LIC 9213 was posted. Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) was provided. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. An exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with Licensee, Vianey Moran. LPA interpreted and explained the inspection report to licensee in Spanish, licensee stated she understood.
