What the inspector wrote

On 7/29/2025, at 12:15pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Vicky Williamson conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection to verify that deficiencies cited on 6/16/2025, regarding pool safety requirements have been corrected. LPA met with Licensee's Assistant, Kiya Daley and Josie Sandness. At 12:35pm, Licensee, Kody Daley arrived to the facility. There were 11 children present, two of whom were infants. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm. Licensee was granted an extension for the corrections and submitted photos for all corrections timely. LPA observed the following during today\342\200\231s inspection: - In-ground pool and in-ground jacuzzi is surrounded by 5ft mesh fencing that has a gate that swings away from the bodies of water, is self-latching and has a key lockable device that meets Health and Safety Code section 1596.814(a)(1)(A) requirements. - In-ground pool and in-ground jacuzzi have alarms that meet Health and Safety Code section 1596.814(a)(1)(B)(ii)(l). - Daily inspection logs of the drowning and prevention safety features and safety equipment were reviewed and are being maintained See LIC 809C Continuation... No deficiencies cited. A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given to Licensee, Kody Daley and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. LPA observed LIC 9213 was posted. Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) was provided. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with Licensee, Kody Daley.
