Correction check·May 14, 2024

On 5/14/2024 at 2:46pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Vicky Williamson conducted an unannounced plan of correction (POC) inspection. The purpose of this inspection is to ensure that deficiencies issued during an complaint inspection on 4/5/2024 are corrected. LPA met with Licensee's Assistant, Jamie Dodge and was led on a tour of the daycare. Also present was Licensee's Assistant, Alayah Dodge. There were nine (9) children present. Interviews were conducted with licensee's assistants. Licensee's assistants stated that they are conducting sleep check every 15 minutes for the infants. Licensee's assistants stated that they have been retrained by Licensee, Ambria Romero and are aware that children are not to nap in off limit areas. Licensee's assistants stated that they are aware that Mandated Reporter training certification is required to be completed every two years. LPA reviewed 15 minute sleep check documentation for the week of 5/6/2024 - 5/13/2024 and they were observed to be completed. Licensee, Ambria Romero submitted plan of corrections for the deficiencies issued on 4/5/2024 to the San Diego Regional Office on 4/26/2024. LPA cleared deficiencies during time of inspection. No deficiencies cited during today\342\200\231s inspection. Exit interview was conducted with Licensee's Assistant, Jamie Dodge and a copy of this report, Appeal Rights and Notice of Site Visit were provided. Notice of Site Visit is required to be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
