What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennifer Lott conducted an unannounced Case Management Visit. LPA was greeted at the front door by Director, Brooke Gonzales and granted entry after identifying herself and disclosing the purpose of her visit. The purpose of LPA\342\200\231s visit was to review California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Guidelines regarding COVID-19. LPA toured the facility and observed them to be within ratio and capacity. The classrooms were toured to ensure adequate social distancing and hand washing stations. LPA observed sufficient and current resources on hand. COVID-19 related safety and informational posters were visibly posted for parents, children and staff. Per Director Gonzales, the facility staff, parents and children are routinely reminded of proper procedures to ensure safety. Following the tour, LPA discussed with Director, Gonzales, current COVID-19 guidance including but not limited to masking, vaccines, food service, visitors, isolation for illness and responding to positives and outbreaks. Director, Gonzales is aware that mask usage is strongly recommended. LPA provided the director with the COVID-19 print outs of CDPH guidance and the weblink to the current guidance https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/Child-Care-Guidance.aspx . LPA also discussed and provided Director, Gonzales with printouts of Provider Information Notices (PIN 22-08-CCP, 22-01.1-CCLD and 22-10-CCP) related to current COVID-19 guidance. Per Director, Gonzales, COVID protocols have been implemented to include but not limited to; child cohorts, cleaning throughout the day and multiple times in each classroom, gloves are worn for food service, all staff are vaccinated, parents drop off at entrance. No deficiencies were cited at this time. An exit interview was conducted with Director, Gonzales. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
