What the inspector wrote

On 8/22/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted a case management inspection for the purpose of amending the report on 8/13/25 which consisted of a case management inspection with annual inspection. Upon arrival LPA met with Area Manager, April Smith. LPA did not observe any changes from the last visit. There were 24 children present with 3 staff members today. Appropriate ratio/capacity was observed. Staff members have the required background clearances and are associated to the facility. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services \342\200\223 IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children\342\200\231s, personnel, and administrative records. LPA discussed California Megan's Law with provider and advised her to go on the website at www.meganslaw.ca.gov . Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. There were no deficiencies cited today. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to keep notice posted will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Area Manager, April Smith. A copy of this report along with Appeal Rights were provided today.
