Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 12/29/2022, Licensing Program Analyst, Joelle Redding, made an unannounced visit to deliver findings on the above referenced allegation. During the investigation, LPA interviewed staff, parents and reviewed relevant documentation. Based on the information obtained, the child arrived at approximately 9:20 a.m. with a dry diaper at the first 9:30 diaper check. The second diaper check and change is started at 11:30 a.m., right before lunch time. It is unclear as to whether staff forgot to change the child before pick up or had not yet gotten to the child prior to pick up at 11:51 a.m. resulting in an overflowing wet diaper. Diaper changing staff had not been informed that the child gets picked up early and should be one of the first changed. The preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be Substantiated and a Type B citation under California Code of Regulations, (Title 22, Division 12 & Chapter 1) is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND WILL REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
